Description
In this course, participants will hear from Dr. Patrice Harris, former AMA President, on the importance of Preceptors taking leadership roles and grounding operations in Equity, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI). This course includes a recorded presentation, discussion forum, and evaluation. Date of Release – September 23, 2022; Expiration Date – September 23, 2024.
Objectives

At the completion of this activity, participants will be able to:

  • Identify best practices for equitable healthcare to strengthen community vitality.
  • Discuss challenges and biases in the clinical learning environment.
  • Identify one’s own role in advancing equity, diversity and inclusion within the clinical learning environment.
