Description
In this presentation, participants will learn about the screening guidelines for sexually transmitted infections (STIs), how to diagnose and treat common non-sexually transmitted vaginal infections, and how to diagnose and treat sexually transmitted infections frequently seen in the primary care setting.

Objectives

At the completion of this activity, participants will be able to:

  • Review screening guidelines for sexually transmitted infections (STIs).
  • Discuss the diagnosis and treatment of common non-sexually transmitted vaginal infections.
  • Identify sexually transmitted infections frequently diagnosed in primary care and describe appropriate antifungal, antimicrobial, or antiviral therapies.
