Description
This course is designed to present the elements of crisis intervention. Participants will leave with the knowledge of individual crisis intervention techniques and group crisis interventions.

Objectives

At the completion of this activity, participants will be able to:

  • Apply and understand psychological first aid.
  • Review resistance, resiliency, and recovery continuum.
  • Identify common psychological and behavioral crisis reactions.
  • Identify and mediate grief responses.
  • Conduct small and large group crisis interventions.
