Description
In this workshop, participants will develop knowledge and skills related to collaborative program development, seeking funding opportunities, and writing grant proposals. The workshop is intended to provide participants with the foundations of grant funding. The workshop will focus heavily on the importance of collaboration across disciplines and organizations in grant development in a competitive world. Finally, participants will have the opportunity to build connections with other professionals and plant the seeds for successful program outcomes.
Objectives

At the completion of this activity, participants will be able to:

  • Develop skills in building collaborative partnerships.
  • Develop skills in learning about and seeking funding.
  • Enhance skills in critically reading and understanding components of grant proposals.
  • Enhance skills related to writing successful grant proposals.
