Description
This course provides a comprehensive overview of neuroanatomy as it pertains to cerebrovascular accidents (CVA) and its impact on cognitive and behavioral function. Participants will gain an understanding of the basic principles of neuroanatomy and explore how damage to specific brain regions leads to common cognitive and behavioral changes. The course will focus on identifying deficits in attention, executive functioning, emotional regulation, and behavioral changes that often result from a CVA. The course will also provide evidence-based strategies for managing and rehabilitating cognitive and behavioral deficits.

Keywords: cognitive, behavioral, changes, cva, physical therapy
