Description
In this self-paced online module, Community Health Workers will learn about telehealth benefits and barriers and how they can support patients in preparing for and participating in telehealth visits.
Objectives

At the completion of this activity, participants will be able to:

  • Define telehealth.
  • Explain how telehealth improves access to care in underserved communities.
  • Identify common digital access and literacy barriers that affect patients’ ability to use telehealth.
  • Describe the role of digital navigation in improving telehealth readiness.
  • Demonstrate how CHWs can support patients in preparing for and participating in telehealth visits.
  • Connect patients to appropriate digital literacy tools and affordable internet programs.
