Description
Participants will learn the basic components of lower extremity prostheses & how these components impact functionality. Objectives

At the completion of this activity, participants will be able to:

  • Identify common lower extremity amputations.
  • Identify componentry of a lower extremity prosthesis.
  • Describe post-op treatment and implications.
  • Discuss partial foot amputations up to above knee amputations.
  • Review pressure tolerant areas vs pressure intolerant areas.
