Description
As the first seminar for this academic year, we will host Graham Adams the CEO of the SC Office of Rural Health. Dr. Adams will share the importance of high functioning interprofessional teams in the rural primary care setting and the rewards of working in rural healthcare. We will engage with faculty from a variety of health professions programs to include their view of how healthcare professionals work together to support patients in rural primary care and we will review a case where a variety of healthcare professions came together to support a patient in a rural setting. Please join us as we kick-off the Institute for Primary Care.
