Description
In this course, you will hear from Benjamin Anderson, Vice President for Rural Health and Hospitals at the Colorado Hospital Association, on the growing health disparities between rural and urban communities across the United States and how to empower and equip leaders to transform their own rural communities. This online module includes a recorded presentation, discussion forum, and evaluation. Date of Release – May 8, 2023; Expiration Date – May 31, 2026.
Objectives

At the completion of this activity, participants will be able to:

  • Identify health disparities between rural and urban Americans.
  • Define transformational leadership.
  • Discuss examples of how measurable health outcomes have been improving through transformational leadership.
  • Examine tools for transformational leadership to apply in your own communities.
