Description
Participants will learn about the importance of considering workforce data when planning for your career in healthcare. This course includes a pre-test, assignments, post-test and evaluation. The module objectives are aligned to the following SC Health Science 1 Standard: Foundation of Healthcare Professions Standard 4: Employability Skills: Use employability skills to enhance employment opportunities and job satisfaction. 4.5 Research levels of education, credentialing requirements, and employment trends in health professions.

At the completion of this activity, participants will be able to:

  • Analyze the current health workforce trends and needs.
  • Identify strategies to be a competitive health professions applicant.
