Description
An in-depth discussion on social determinants of health and how it affects the outcome of health care. Students will be challenged with an interactive activity to help understand the many levels of access to care and how it impacts individuals during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Objectives

At the completion of this activity, participants will be able to:

  • Describe social determinants of health (SDOH)
  • Explain access to care issues
  • Illustrate how privilege (SDOH) may impact health and well-being
