Description
This training will focus on defining mindfulness and how it is different from “soothing” techniques, and it is about focusing and being present in a moment. This training will provide evidence-based skills for improving mindfulness for individuals to integrate into their workday. We will share our evidence-based toolkit so you can use skills past the training.
Objectives

At the completion of this activity, participants will be able to:

  • Define mindfulness and discuss how the concept can help practitioners.
  • Practice mindfulness techniques.
  • Discuss how mindfulness techniques can be integrated in the clinical setting.
