Description
Join us for the session where we discuss the opportunities and challenges of living and working in rural South Carolina. We’ll hear from a hospital administrator and a primary care provider about what makes their communities a place where they want to live and work and how different health professionals work together when they are not all in the same health system or even in the same county.

At the completion of this activity, participants will be able to:

  • Describe how healthcare professionals create effective patient care networks in rural South Carolina
  • Examine aspects of rural healthcare delivery that contribute to professional satisfaction
  • Discuss strategies for enhancing patient care in rural settings
