By participating in this program, you will walk away with a professional resume template, a quality checklist, and the confidence to apply for internships, volunteer positions, and healthcare programs across South Carolina.
Objectives

At the completion of this activity, participants will be able to:

  • Identify the essential components of a professional resume, including contact information, objective statement, education, experience, skills, and activities sections.
  • Explain how transferable skills from volunteer work, caregiving, shadowing, and school activities connect to healthcare career requirements.
  • Distinguish between strong and weak resume content by evaluating examples using professional standards and healthcare employer expectations.
