Description
The Bio Slice Event is an interactive, hands-on learning experience designed to deepen students' understanding of anatomy, physiology, and biological systems through a guided dissection activity. Students will engage in the dissection of a mammal heart, allowing them to observe the internal structures and gain practical insights into how the body functions. Led by a qualified instructor and aligned with science education standards, this program emphasizes scientific inquiry, critical thinking, and the ethical considerations of biological study. Students will be encouraged to ask questions, make observations, and connect what they’ve learned in the classroom to real-world biological systems. This event aims to spark curiosity in the life sciences, promote interest in health and STEM careers, and provide a memorable, educational experience.
