Description
This training will examine the impact of stress on the body and brain. This training will help individuals recognize stress and manage stressful situations. It will introduce skills, such as time management and breathing, for individuals to use in the workplace. Also, it will identify how an individual may integrate these skills into their practice for navigating stressful and overwhelming situations. We will share our evidence-based toolkit so you can use skills past the training.
Objectives

At the completion of this activity, participants will be able to:

  • Describe the impact of stress on the body and brain
  • Present evidence-based stress management skills
  • Discuss ways to integrate skills into practitioners’ practice
  • Apply strategies to case scenarios
