Description
Today’s workplace presents a variety of challenges. Leadership experts have identified a number of chronic problems/concerns facing organizations today. These include: lack of a shared vision/values, no strategic path, poor alignment, wrong style, poor skills, and low trust. Each of these concerns are often escalated by a lack of communication and escalating conflicts creating low morale and motivation as well as high turnover rates. This workshop will discuss the chronic concerns as well as ways to address each concern and create a healthy workplace. This workshop is designed for both supervisors and supervisees as we all play a role in advancing healthy workplace habits.
Objectives

At the completion of this activity, participants will be able to:

  • Define chronic organizational concerns.
  • Discuss ways to address workplace concerns.
  • Review conflict de-escalation techniques.
  • Identify communication techniques to build a healthy workplace environment.
