Description
Join us for our monthly seminar series for a focused session on maternal health and the urgent warning signs associated with pregnancy-related complications. This presentation will review leading causes of maternal mortality, key risk factors, and evidence-based strategies to prevent pregnancy-related deaths.

Objectives

At the completion of this activity, participants will be able to:

  • Identify key maternal warning signs associated with pregnancy-related mortality in South Carolina.
  • Explain the primary causes and contributing factors of maternal mortality.
  • Describe evidence-based prevention strategies that reduce pregnancy-related deaths and improve maternal health outcomes.
